Choose a setting for the size you need
Set a width in pixels
Choose Width & height, set Width to 800 and clear Height so it shows Auto. Keep original proportions enabled to calculate the height for each image.
Halve the width and height
Choose Percentage and set Scale to 50 (50%). An 800 × 600 image becomes 400 × 300. This changes pixel dimensions, not a guaranteed percentage of file size.
Give a mixed batch one limit
Choose Longest edge and enter 1280. Landscape and portrait images keep their own proportions while fitting within the same longest-side limit.
Prevent upscaling is on by default: images smaller than a requested pixel size are not enlarged. Turn it off to allow enlargement.
Fit Within or Stretch: choose how the image fits
Original proportions.
Fit Within keeps the original proportions
With Keep original proportions enabled, entering both width and height creates a bounding box. A 1600 × 1200 photo fitted within 1200 × 630 becomes 840 × 630. The whole image stays visible, with no crop or added padding. Ratio and purpose presets use this rule.
Wider proportions.
Stretch uses the requested proportions
Turn off Keep original proportions and enter both dimensions to stretch the image. The same photo becomes 1200 × 630, changing its proportions. Prevent upscaling can make the result smaller than requested; turn it off when enlargement is needed.
The dashed box is a size guide, not added padding. Both examples use the same original and resize limit.
Local resizing, with control over every output
Batch and multi-size together
Resize up to 20 images in a batch and apply several sizes to each. Each original can be up to 25 MB and 50 megapixels. Matching outputs are merged; the workspace shows the final output count and limits.
Keep the format and transparency
Static JPG, PNG and WebP images keep their format. PNG and WebP retain transparency. Quality applies to JPG and WebP; PNG uses lossless encoding after resizing. A resized file can be larger than the original.
Reuse your sizes and filenames
Save sizes, quality and filename options under My presets on this browser. Downloads include the actual dimensions in their names, such as photo-840x630.jpg.
Private image processing
Images and filenames stay on your device; images and results are kept only for this session. Camera and location metadata are removed. Output uses sRGB; original wide-gamut colors and HDR are not preserved. Lightweight usage metadata records processing outcomes.
Enlarging an image cannot recover missing detail. This tool changes dimensions; it does not crop images or add padding. Animated images and formats other than JPG, PNG and WebP are unsupported.

Reduce KB or MB
Resize changes pixel dimensions. To reduce file size while keeping the format, try Compress Image.
Change the file format
To switch between JPG, PNG and WebP, use Convert Image. It uses the same private browser workflow.
